The purpose of this study is to determine the human rights of children with special needs in obtaining education at SLB Pelita Hati Tampan, Pekanbaru. The form of study that is implemented is a descriptive study as well as applying qualitative methods, so that this study is included in the type of qualitative research, which in collecting data using 3 methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis uses 4 methods, namely collecting data, data reduction, presenting data, and conclusions. The results of this study are obtained from 3 indicators: maintain, appreciate, and respect. Findings show that teachers at SLB Pelita Hati appreciate the specificity of children by still providing learning with techniques that are allocated to children with special needs.
